Over the last two years, the NCC has been the platform for the delivery of cutting edge information from specially commissioned sector and consumer surveys.
This year, we are conducting a number of surveys, the results of which will be featured in a number of congress sessions. The analysed results of each survey will also be compiled and send to all NCC attendees and respondees post event.
SECTOR BENCHMARKING SURVEYS:
These are online surveys that we ask industry participants to complete. If you would like to complete any of the following surveys, please click on the survey title below. All survey respondees will receive a copy of the collated and analysed results after the 25th of September.
All surveys have a maximum of 10 questions and should take no more than 10 minutes maximum to complete.
Anti-Money Laundering & the Home Transaction Sector
THIS SURVEY WILL OPEN ON THE 1ST JUNE
CLT has joined forces with the TM Group, which comprises TM Property Service and Search Choice, to conduct research with legal and conveyancing professionals on the subject of Anti-Money Laundering.
The aim is to benchmark current experiences and to understand the views and opinions regarding the regulations and their implications. The results of this first in-depth research into Anti Money Laundering will be launched at the National Conveyancing Congress on the 25th September 2008.

Conveyancing Benchmarking Survey
The survey will seek to gather benchmarking information about the following:
- Time to complete sale and purchase
- Fees per case
- Case load per fee earner
- Conveyancing fee scales
- Average percentage profits from conveyancing transactions
- Average HIP turnaround time
The survey will also form part of an interactive session at the NCC in which delegates will be asked, via real-time key pad technology, to also answer the questions. Results from the pre-event online survey and on-the-day survey will be combined to create a final benchmarking report.

2008 CONSUMER SURVEY

This survey has been conducted with 250 members of the public who have bought or sold a house in the last 12 months.
The analysed results will delivers as a presentation at the NCC, and an executive summary made available to all attendees.
